Honors Art & Social Justice
In this course, we will explore the term “social justice” and the connection between social justice and art. Students will look at the role of art as a means of communication, education and protest. The course will include research, writing and of course, art.
Women’s History
This class combines research with art making. Students research women of influence both locally and globally. Research ranges from traditional to unconventional examples. Throughout the semester, students will accumulate a body of research materials that will serve as the basis of art projects.
