Sculpture - A thorough understanding of basic forming techniques is essential to the creation of sculpture. This course provides an introduction to forming with wood and metal. Emphasis is on acquiring technical skill and learning the safe and appropriate use of tools and materials. The prerequisite for this course is Foundations I or II.
Industrial Art - This course explores how creative ideas are fulfilled through the use of tools, materials, and processes. This course includes CAD Computer aided drafting and interior design. Home Maintenance & Repair, students will learn about many repairs in the home and procedures involved in making these repairs. Topics covered will include use and care of tools, plumbing, dry-wall, painting, tiling, welding, fasteners and other hardware, door repairs, window maintenance, and carpentry. Students will complete a variety of hands-on activities that involve these skills. This course would be beneficial to any student who plans to pursue a career in a construction trade, construction management, or architectural/ construction design or engineering. . The prerequisite for this course is Foundations I or II.
